It is also the largest and the most complete ancient complex of wooden structures in the world. China is famous for its varied food culture and we will not miss the chance to serve you the real Chinese food to make sure you enjoy the trip from all aspects. For this first day, we will arrange the a la carte lunch for you at a famous local restaurant to order your preferred dishes, and surely our guide will help you with the order process if it is needed. In the afternoon, have a look at the Temple of Heaven, which was used by the emperors to worship the god for the good harvest and fortune. A Chinese proverb says that “one is not a true man unless he comes to the Great Wall”. It shows the difficulty of climbing up the Great Wall in old days, but now it becomes easier and safer after years of protection and development. Today we will drive you to the most famous section of the Great Wall, Badaling Great Wall and a jade factory. You may climb to the top and find yourself filled with passions and ambitions when all mountains are in a small single glance. As the restaurants there are in low quality, we do not arrange lunch today. We suggest you have a big breakfast and take some fast food for you lunch. Visit the Sacred Way in the afternoon. On the way back to downtown, we will stop at a distance for you to have a look at or take some photos of the National Stadium, which is also called the Bird Nest and was first used for the 2008 Olympics.
