Xian Long-distance Bus Station
As the provincial capital of Shaanxi Province, Xian is the transportation hub for long-distance transportation in Shaanxi Province. The long-distance buses departing from Xian can get to any place in the province. Located in central Shaanxi Province, Xian connects northern and southern Shaanxi together. The main coach stations in the city are Shaanxi Xian Long-distance Bus Station, Sanfuwan, Xian Chengnan, Chengdong, Chengxi, and Chengbei Long-distance Bus Stations.
Shaanxi Long-distance Bus Station (陕西西安汽车站)
Shaanxi Xian Coach Station is across the street from the Xian Railway Station. It opened in December 1st, 1983. Now the station is a National First Level Coach Station and one of the most importation transportation hubs in Shaanxi Province. There are 25 transportation companies located in the station operating over 150 coach lines. Passengers can get to over 300 cities and areas regions in Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, and Anhui provinces.

Sanfuwan Long-distance Bus Station (西安三府湾客运站)
Located at 353 West Changying Road, Sanfuwan Coach Station is one of the principal transportation hubs in Xian. There are coaches traveling to over 20 provinces such as Zhejiang, Shandong, Shanxi and Henan, and to cities such as Beijing, Tianjin, and Shanghai. There are also coach lines to many major cities in Shaanxi Province such as Weinan, Xianyang, Baoji, Yanan, Hanzhong and Ankang.

Chengnan (Southern Town) Long-distance Bus Station (西安城南客运站)
Located at No.78, South of Zhuque Street, Chengnan Coach Station mainly handles the long-distance buses to cities and counties in the south of Shaanxi Province such as Hanzhong, Ankang and Luonan. There are also coaches to some counties around Xian such as Huxian, Tangyu, and Dayukou. The station is equipped with a medical room, a security check counter, an LED display Screen, instrument for security inspection, and an electronic monitoring and control system to guarantee passengers' security.

Chengdong (Eastern Town) Long-distance Bus Station (西安城东客运站)
Chengdong Coach Station is located at No.103, Middle Changle Road, near the east gate of the old town of Xian. Built in 1992, and put into use in 1996, the station was home to 106 coach lines by the end of 2006. The coach lines can get to many cities within Shaanxi Province such as Weinan, Dali, Hancheng, Yanan and Yulin, and many other provinces such as Shanxi, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Guangzhou.

Coaches departing from the station can also get to Xianyang, Baoji and Hanzhong within Shaanxi Province.
