 Tourist Service Center: Located 200 meters (218.7 yards) to the north of Guancheng, it offers enquiry service, tourist maps, e-guide facilities, wheelchairs, baby strollers, walking sticks and many other services to smooth visitors’ visit. 
 Barrier-free constructions for the disabled: For the convenience to the disabled, same barrier-free constructions have been built, including parking facilities, sidewalks in the main roads for sightseeing, ramp ways, elevators, sightseeing stands, low-position information desk for wheelchair users, and easy travel appliances. 
 Xinhua Bookstall: On the south side outside of the West Gate of the scenic spot, it is mainly for books, pictures, and albums of Badaling.

 Nearby Attractions:  China Great Wall Museum presents an all-round look of the history, military, architecture, economy, culture, art and present status of the great wall through photos, charts and molds. Quanzhou Cinema shows the ancient sites and relevant stories about the great wall on a 360° seamless circular screen simultaneously by 10 projectors together. The Residual Great Wall Natural Scenic Spot attracts visitors both for its magnificent remains and the beautiful natural views in different seasons. Guyaju Scenic Area (Ancient Cliff Side Residence), the largest cliff residence site discovered in China, displays a total of 147 man-made stone rooms of all sizes and structures in the both sides of the granite walls of a less than 10 m (10.9 yards) wide valley. Other nearby attractions are Chadao Ancient City, Shuiguan Great Wall, Songshan Forest Park, Kangxi Grassland, Widlife Park, Longqing Gorge, Shijinglong Ski Resort, Guihuamu National Geological Park and Xiadu Park.

A. Badaling is the most famous great wall section in China, with the largest number of tourist reception. However, some of the stone steps are steep and abrupt, so wear sport shoes with projections on the soles, balance the body’s center well when walking down, and try to avoid the peak visiting time. Meanwhile, scenic sights in the South Tower Area are galore, greeting the eye every step of the way from left and right, which may distracts the mind and leads to a false step easily. Thus, kindly advise visitors to stop to enjoy the sights and walk without any sightseeing.
B. Take some first-aid appliance such as bandage and band-aid, and basic medicine for curing high blood pressure and heart diseases.
C. Try to avoid climbing Badaling in heavy rain, thunderstorm, snow or strong wind.
