Yangtze River Highlights Cruise

Upon your arrival in Chongqing airport, our guide will wait for you outside the baggage claim area. You will be transferred to the downtown to have a sort excursion in the mountain city Chongqing. Visit the Panda House in Chongqing Zoo and the Residence of General Joseph W. Stilwell if the time permits. Then you will be accompanied by our guide to board the deluxe cruise ship. Your memorable Yangtze River tour begins at 22:00 as the ship sets sail.

Sail through the shortest and the grandest part of Three Gorges, Qutang Gorge and later the Wu Gorge with its famous lofty and misty peaks. Disembark at Wushan Daning River for an excursion to the Shennong Stream. Sitting at the pea boat, you can get the close touch with the boat tracker and experience the stunning sceneries along the crystal stream. In the afternoon, continue sailing into western section of the Xiling Gorge. At 18:00, pass through the three gorges ship lock and a la carte dinner is served for you. (B+L+D)

The cruise ship will sail along during the whole night and then stop at the Sandouping village, close to the Three Gorges Dam. You will disembark for a morning visit to the grandest hydroelectric project in the world. The whole project lasts for 17 years and it is planned complete by the year of 2009. After complete the cruise tour, our local guide will meet you on board with comfortable private transfer to Yichang city. If the time permits, visit the Yichang Museum. Then see you off to the airport. (B+L)

Our guide will pick you up at Yichang airport, which is about 26 kilometers to the city center and 55 kilometers to the Yichang Three Gorges Dam. Visit Yichang Museum if time permits. Then check in at the cruise ship to settle down.
