Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
Our professional local guide will express our sincere welcome to you at the Beijing Airport. Then a comfortable private transfer from the airport to the hotel will be considerately arranged. The rest of your day is free. You are advised to explore the superb city by yourself or recover from the jet leg at the classy hotel.

Day 02: Beijing
Start the marvelous tour from the respectful Tiananmen Square, the city's landmark. This immense courtyard is the site of various historical events which will be detailedly explained by your knowledgeable guide. Then walk about 10 minutes to reach the Forbidden City. The magnificent Forbidden City is the largest and the best-preserved Imperial Palace complex in the world. It is a must see for every traveler who visit Beijing for the first time. A la carte lunch will be arranged at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Heaven, which is in the south of the city. The Temple of Heaven is the largest group of structures in the country dedicated to rituals that pay homage to the glory of heaven. This evening, you will enjoy a lively Chinese Kung Fu Show at the Red Theatre will be arranged after the dinner. (B+L)
Day 03: Beijing
Drive about more than one hour to the northwest Badaling Great Wall. There are many scenic spots in the Great Wall area, including the Wangjing Stone, the Tanqin Gorge and the Shifo Temple. In order to avoid the tourist eateries which may not meet your expectation around the Wall, you will be taken to a local renowned Sichuan restaurant for a rich lunch. Then we will drive you back to the downtown area, while on the way back, you will have a chance to overview the outlook of the Bird's Nest. In the afternoon, take a visit to the Summer Palace, which holds a special place in the history of Chinese gardens, thus ranking among one of the Four Famous Gardens in China in addition to the Imperial Summer Villa of Chengde, the Humble Administrator's Garden and the Lingering Garden in Suzhou.  (B+L)
Day 04: Beijing - Lhasa
Take a morning flight to mystical Lhasa. Upon arrival, you will be met by the guide and transferred to the local hotel. Acclimatize yourself to the high altitude in the afternoon. (B)

Day 05: Lhasa
In the morning, you will see the official Tibet Museum, which is the first modern museum in Tibet. Then visit the Lhasa Carpet Factory, which is a noteworthy enterprise. After having lunch at a local popular restaurant, continue your sightseeing tour to visit the Sera Monastery and Norbulingka Park. Enjoy a history of more than 500 years; the Sera Monastery is one of the six main temples of Gelu sect of the Tibetan Buddhism. The Norbulingka Park is the most beautiful garden in Tibet, which occupies the largest area and has many historic sites. (B+L)
Day 06: Lhasa
This morning you will visit the magnificent Potala Palace that is on the top of the Red Mountain. It is the symbol of the sacred land. The Potala Palace is not only famous for its majestic building complex, but also its rare cultural relics. In the afternoon, you will see the Jokhang Temple and the thriving Barkhor Street bazaar. The Barkhor Street is a busy merchant street around the Jokhang Temple. Both of the sites are externally like a big timepiece with an overlook and the Temple is the bell axis. The items on display show travelers the splendid Tibetan culture, history, religion, art and folk-custom.  Afterward, visit the Tibetan Tradition Medicine Hospital where you can learn the foundation, development and production of Tibetan medicine. Day 07: Lhasa - Xian
In the morning, you are invited to visit a Tibetan family and get an opportunity to see their customs and how they live. The hospitable host will be prepared to welcome you. Then take a flight to Xian. The professional guide and experienced driver will wait for you at the airport. Transfer to the hotel for rest. (B+L)

Day 08: Xian
This morning, you will visit the stunning Museum of Qin Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses, which is the most astounding archeological excavations of the 20th century. As of now, there are still many puzzles waiting for archeologists' discovery. You may also discuss with your knowledgeable guide if you are interested. Then you will have an a la carte lunch at a reputed local restaurant. Start the afternoon tour from the Big Wild Goose Pagoda which attracts numerous visitors for its fame in the Buddhist religion, its simple but appealing style of construction, and its new square in front of the temple. Then go ahead to visit the Provincial History Museum. (B+L+D) 
 
Differences
For Luxury Series: tonight you will be entertained with the marvelous Tang Dynasty Dinner and Show at Tang Dynasty Palace (Add: No.75, Chang'an Road, Xian).
For Standard Series: you will enjoy the wonderful Dumpling Dinner and Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show at Shaanxi Opera Theatre (Add: No. 165, Wenyi Road, Xian).
Day 09: Xian
Visit the City Wall and a local family visit which offers you a chance to communicate with local people and to know how they live. And lunch will be arranged in the home of the family that you visit, to taste the authentic home cooked Chinese dishes. Afterwards, visit the Great Mosque, one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved Islamic mosques in China. (B+L)
Day 10: Xian - Shanghai
Take a flight to the prosperous Shanghai. Upon arrival, the professional guide and experienced driver will wait for you at the airport. Transfer to the hotel for rest. (B)

Day 11: Shanghai
This morning you will see the Shanghai Museum. Founded in 1952, it is a large ancient art museum which is famous for bronze, chinaware, calligraphy and painting. Then have a visit to the classical Yuyuan Garden. The Grand Rockery, in the center of the Garden, is the most renowned sight here. A la carte lunch will be served in a well selected hotel. For the afternoon activities, we have different arrangements for the luxury and standard series, hereunder please check the differences. (B+L)
 
Differences
Luxury Series: after lunch you will be driven to the Bund area, where you will take a memorable cruise tour on the Huangpu River. Then we would like to leave you some time to explore the Bund area. Then visit an old street in Shanghai.
Standard Series: after lunch you will be taken to visit the Bund along the Huangpu River, the famous Nanjing Road, China's premier shopping street and visit an old street in Shanghai.
Day 12: Departure from Shanghai
Today a private hotel-airport transfer will be arranged for you to board your homeward flight. At the airport, bid a farewell to this amazing land. (B)

  • Is international travel included in this tour? I've been to China before so I was wondering if you had a tour that included changing ( panda reserve) and Xian as well as Tibet
