Introduction: The first energy-saving demonstration subway line in China, Beijing Subway Line 9 starts from Guogongzhuang in Fengtai District, crosses the eastern part of Fengtai Railway Station, passes by Fengtai east Street, Beijing West Railway Station and Military Museum, and ends at National Library finally. Since Dec. 31, 2011, its first phase from Guogongzhuang to Beijing West Railway Station has been put into use. The northern section was put into operation in December 2012.

Introduction: Starting from the south side of Majiabu Station of Subway Line 4, Beijing Subway Daxing Line passes through Nanyuan Area of Fengtai District, and Xihongmen Area, new city area and Biomedical Industry Base of Daxing District, and ends at Nanzhao Road on the southern border of the new city area of Daxing District. After the connection with Subway Line 4, Daxing Subway may take passengers from Daxing District to Summer Palace directly.
