Introduction: Built between North 4th Ring Road and North 5th Ring Road, Beijing Subway Line 15 is divided into two phases, from Qinghua East Road of Haidian District in the west to Fengbo Township of Shunyi District in the east. The completion of this subway may be effective in relieving the traffic pressure in Olympic District and in the northern part of Asian Games Village. The first phase was started to be constructed in 2009, and part of it, from Wangjing West to Houshayu, has been put into use since December, 2010. On Dec.30, 2011, another section of the first phase from Houshayu to Fengbo was also opened to the public.
