Introduction: Opened on June 28, Guangzhou Subway Line 1 is the first subway in Guangzhou. It is also the first subway in China that adopts automatic ticket selling and checking system and equips special facilities for the disabled. Its two terminals are Xilang and Guangzhou East Railway Station. Its operation relieves the traffic pressure of the Pearl River Tunnel and Zhongshan Road, and strengthens the connection between Fangcun District and downtown Guangzhou.
