Dear Maggie,
Meals were good to very good. One lack was, that all food came at the same time, so on eating one dish, other(s) got cold…..Best one was the additional dinner at Souzhou Bamboo cave.
The guides were good to excellent.
The guide Summer in Hanzhou was excellent with excellent English.
The guide in Shanghai was very good with very nice English.
The guide in Souzhou was good, her English could be improved.
Drivers and cars were good to o.K.
All guides were good to very good. Summer, the guide in Hangzhou was excellent in English and knew a lot of stories for the visited places. It was a pleasure to get around with her.
Also the guide in Suzhou was good and showed us nice places on the whole tour.

The time was sufficient except at the Bund in Shanghai, we were there briefly. A suggestion: the arrival day in Shanghai itinerary could add the Jade Temple and to the top of the tallest building and have the flight arrive before lunch so one would want to eat lunch upon the arrival into Shanghai and that no meal was served on the flight. A visit to a large factory ( i.e. clock or wallet or shoe or linens for example, anything) would be interesting too, as so many products are made in China and exported to the USA.
The meals were outstanding except for one in a hotel in Shanghai, the atmosphere wasn’t up to your usual and the food was mediocre. The portions for our group were too large, more drinks portions could be offered and to include not only beer but wine too.
Jason and Echo were outstanding. They each had their own styles of being a tour guide.
All buses were clean and the drivers very personable.
This was my first trip with a tour, I usually travel on my own. I saw and learned so much, and our group was always punctual and we all got on very well together. (One guide even commented on that.)
It was really nice meeting both of you, thank you for the t-shirt and catalogue. I have already highly recommended your company to many of my friends.
