Yellow Crane Tower
The Yellow Crane Tower is located at the bank of the Yangtze River in Wuchang District, Wuhan City. Firstly built in in 223 A.D, the tower once served as a gathering place for celebrities and poets to make merry and compose poetry. Yellow Crane Tower together with Yueyang Pavilion in Hunan Province and Tengwang Pavilion in Jiangxi Province is praised as the Three Most Notable Towers in the south of the Yangtze River.
East Lake
East Lake Scenic Area is the biggest recreation and amusement park in Wuhan City. Covering an area of about 88 square kilometers (21,745 acres) with a water surface of about 33 square kilometers (8,154 acres), the lake made up of five lakes joined and fed by the Yangtze River. The East Lake Scenic Area offers a music fountain, several pavilions, and historic relics.
Yangtze River Bridge
Connecting Guishan Mountain in Hanyang and Sheshan Mountain in Wuchang, Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge is the Chinese People's first try to overcome the Yangtze River. Now the bridge has already become the landmark construction of Wuhan City. Completed in 1955, the bridge has a total length of about 1,670 meters (5,479 feet).
Guiyuan Buddhist Temple
Located in the Cuiwei Lu of the Hanyang District, the Guiyuan Buddhist Temple is one the four most famous Buddhist temples in Wuhan City and the other three are the Baotong Temple, Lianxi temple and the Zhengjue Temple. It plays a significant role in Chinese Buddhism.
Heptachord Terrace
The Heptachord Terrace in Wuhan City is a famous relic in Chinese musical history, which is built to commemorate a couple of friends in ancient China - Yu Boya and Zhong Ziqi, who love music and by which they became bosom friends.
Hubei Provincial Museum
located by the East Lake in Wuchang District, Hubei Provincial Museum exhibits cultural and historical relics excavated in and around Hubei Province, which reflecting the rich and centuries-old Culture of Chu Kingdom during the Warring States Period.
National Stone Museum
Next to the Guiyuan Buddhist Temple in the Cuiwei Lu of the Hanyang District, the National Stone Museum of Wuhan City displays more than 3,000 samples of rocks of a wide variety of kinds. The Museum is a good place to appreciate the rare rocks and the exquisite bonsais.
Liberation Park
