I hope this email finds you very well.

First of all sorry for not replying before, but after our short vacation around China, work has been busy. I would also like to thank you for the wonderful experience we had while travelling around your country. It was really awesome.

With regard to your questions, let me answer next.

The tour guides were excellent, very nice people, very knowledgeable and friendly. We really appreciate their explanations and patience. So were the drivers. We don't have any complaints at all, just the opposite, we thank all of them for the nice time they made us have. Cars were OK and meals at the restaurants were very good. We specially remember the one in Shanghai which was really great and the one with the local family in Xian. All fantastic. Hotels in Beijing and Xian were a bit old to be a 3 stars and the facilities were a bit poor, so were the breakfast, with not much choice. However the location was fantastic. The one in Shanghai was better with much better breakfast. I think the hotels could be improved in future packages as I'm pretty sure there must be better options for 3 star hotels in the same areas.

All in all was a very nice trip and we will for sure choose your company again for its efficiency, professionalism and kindness.

Hi Abbey,

We enjoyed the trip immensely. It was the first tour we have been on - not counting sailing rallies so we cannot compare it with others.

The guides all had a vast knowledge and a helpful, friendly manner. Like you they were always ready to impart their knowledge and a bit of themselves. They were also flexible with the itinerary which was great when it was so cold.

The days had just enough order in them and we had time to relax or explore by ourselves. The group size was great. Just enough that you got to know all the members and everyone looked out for each other.

The only thing we didn't like was the tipping. Maybe that is because we come from a country where there is no tipping. It made us feel awkward and we felt that this should be included in the price of the tour. We were not the only ones that felt this way.

We enjoyed the variety of places that we ate at. The food was excellent. The only one we were not so fussed on was the night we went to the dumpling place and the show that followed. This was an extra so not to worry. We were rushed for the meal. It all tasted the same. The show was not at a particularly high standard unlike the Kung Fu show which was excellent.

Anyway we have great memories of China and I have already recommended your company to some fellow cruisers who are planning a visit. Also warned them to make sure they allow 4 days to get the required visa!!

It was most memorable, and your private tours were exactly what we needed. I doubt that your competition is anywhere as good as your company.

The guides were simply excellent. They were genuinely nice people and they knew well their local regions. Their communication skills were very good (English). The drivers were very professional and the cars were comfortable and clean. Meals were surprisingly good with the cautions and some foods being unfamiliar to us. Hotels were over the top. We would have been satisfied with less expensive hotels.

I actually did not realize that I was booking a private trip when I made the arrangements your company provided great value for the money. I wish I had realized that I might have some control over the itineraries; then I would have asked to delete some of the shopping stops along the way.

Selina, I was amazed that you would take your own time to stop by and meet with us. That was proof by itself of the great job that you and your company do.
