We arrived safely back home last night. I'm still a bit jet lagged. I don't have any complaints with our guides or drivers. The guides were all very responsible about insuring we saw all of the sites listed in our itinerary, watched after our well-being, and told us many interesting things about the local area and people. The drivers drove safely and were on time.

Finally I have a few comments. First, our guide, Linda in Beijing and Lee in Shanghai were exceptional! I enjoyed being with them and their knowledge about their respective areas.

I enjoyed immensely the lunch that was prepared for us in Xi'an. I have gone on the cook's website through your company and cooked several of her dishes.

The one negative thing on the trip was the train trip from Shanghai back to Beijing. It took too long, I felt I wasted the good part of a day riding on a train where if we could have gotten a flight back to Beijing, we could have enjoyed more of that city or more of Shanghai. I definitely would change that part of the trip.

I will send you a few photos when I have a chance- They are much better than that one! I think of China and our trip often. Now that I am back in U. S. , it seems as though it was a dream! A beautiful dream!!
