Thank you for all you did for us in China. As you may know, this is the second time I booked a tour with you (my first trip with you was in 2002) and your services were just as great as my first visit. The hotel accommodations were outstanding in both Xi'an and Beijing - I am pleased we elected to have the Luxury accommodations. We were particularly impressed with Waldren, our guide in Xi'an. His English was excellent and he was very enthusiastic about sharing the sights and culture of his country with us. He took great care to see that we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves throughout the 3 days we spent with him. Our driver in Xi'an was also very friendly and helpful.

Our Beijing guide, Selina, was also very nice, although we had to shorten our trip with her due to my husband and I being a bit ill during our time in Beijing. Before we arrived in Xi'an you had given me the name and mobile number of our guide so we could be sure to connect with him at the airport (we arrived at night). That was very helpful for me as I was able to text Waldren to let him know when we had arrived at the airport and we regularly texted to confirm pick-up times, etc. during our visit. I then obtained and used the mobile number for Selina in Beijing. Having the mobile phone numbers of our guides was very useful (and gave me an extra security in case anything went wrong) so I hope you will consider making that information available to other groups during as part of the information you provide before the trip.

Unfortunately, our experience in Luoyang was not as good. Our guide, Simon was hard to understand and it felt as though he was hurrying through the day so he could go home. However, the worst part in Luoyang was the lunch - it was awful. The food was very poor quality with almost no meat and lots of rice - not what I expected from a Luxury trip. We did enjoy the sights of Luoyang but still remember that lunch!

Overall, we had a great trip and I would not hesitate to recommend them to any of my friends who want a personalized small group tour in China.
