We would like to thank you for the wonderful time we had in China and will recommend you as a professional operator to friends and family.
Time was well balanced. You can always spend more time at a place but if you want to see the whole program there are choices to be made. During our trip the balance was fine. The different nationalities in our group worked out very well, same hold for the mixture of people (kids, families, single travelers).
The arranged locations of the restaurants and the food for the lunches were excellent. In Beijing we had very nice restaurants, which I can all recommend. In Xian we had lunch at a private location as well as a dumpling dinner at a theatre. In Shanghai the lunch was at a restaurant as well. There was a budget for everyone to select within and most of the time the group ordered more than we could eat. It might be good to have a pre-set menu with a few additional options based on the groups taste to avoid too order too much and avoid waiting time. Food got shared anyway so that way your get something for everyone.
The guides (Rose, Lily and Charlie) were very fluent in English and could share their knowledge about the places very well. They took excellent care of the individuals' questions and showed flexibility to adjust to the groups needs. They did an excellent job in providing the information about the visited sites. Rose and Lily in Beijing and Xian gave upfront information and then let the group find out the rest. They were always around during the "stroll time" to ask further questions. Lily was our favorite guide as she was very personal and caring.
Driving in Beijing and Shanghai was fine, although it would have been good to have the individual seat belts in the bus in Beijing available (they were installed but inaccessible under the seat covers).
Hotels were excellent regarding accommodation and breakfast, only at the hotel in Xian breakfast was lacking sufficient service (tables were not cleared and reset fast enough for the number of guests).
The journey was very well organized and we felt being taken care of. We especially appreciated the quick e-mail responses to questions before arriving by Linda and it was nice to meet Linda in person during our visit to Xian. All the arrangements worked extremely well including the flights and transfers in all 3 locations we visited. We would recommend the company as an extremely professional and efficient operator and thank the whole team for their great job in making this journey an excellent experience for us traveling through your country.
