It was pretty good, except at some spots we wished for a little more free time to explore at our own pace, particularly in Beijing. The guide in Shanghai (Charlie) did a great job of giving us plenty of information as well enough free time.

Every meal was excellent!! Our favorite one overall was getting to have lunch at the family home in Xi'an.

All guides were excellent and very knowledgeable! They did a great job and made the experience very pleasant! Rose and Lily were both fantastic guides! They knew so much about the local are and Chinese history in general - they really helped us learn about everything we were seeing! Not only that, we traveled with five children and they were very accommodating and patient with them. By the end of our days together, they felt like family.

Initially, we were concerned about whether we'd really have someone waiting at the airport, especially since our flight was delayed by several hours. But each time someone was there waiting, without fail. The guides were punctual each morning and we never felt like there was any time wasted.

The hotels in Beijing and Shanghai were wonderful!! Very clean, modern, great staff, excellent breakfast - everything was great. The hotel in Xi'an seemed outdated, did not have a good smell or atmosphere, and the breakfast did not have a great selection.

Our entire trip was great, thanks to your company. We are very grateful for your service and will be recommending you to our friends, as well as looking you up again if we travel to China in the future!
