China Tour Reviews

Sorry about the delayed response. We went immediately back to work and it has been difficult to get back to regularity.

1. Meals
For the most parts the meals were great. Most places had a selection that allowed you to try new and different things while also having some fairly conservative dishes for those not so adventurous. The highlight was easily the cooking class and meal in Xi'an. The photo menus were all helpful and most of the staff at the restaurants made every effort to make sure we were taken care of. The only place we did not enjoy was the lunch place we ate at after the Great Wall.

2. Guides
Both of our guides were knowledgeable and professional; the guide during the Hutong tour was great, also. English was very rarely a problem for either guide. Both guides were very knowledgeable about all of the activities and locations we visited and one of our guide's strengths in Beijing was his ability to suggest activities and provide advice about things we were not going to be doing with the tour, the zoo and shopping. While we were extremely satisfied with both our guides we did want to mention how impressed we were with our first guide in Xi'an and how welcoming and safe we felt with her upon arrival in China.

3. Drivers
The drivers were both professional and safe and were able to get us to where we needed to go with no problems; in many cases a task we wouldn't have been able to do on our own!

4. Hotels
The hotels were both safe and clean. We enjoyed the breakfast at both places. The only problem we had was paying for the Internet in the Beijing hotel when it was included in Xi'an, but there was a hotel star difference we paid for in Xi'an so that may have been one of the benefits of the nicer hotel.

We had a great time traveling in China. Through your company we had a professional and engaging experience. While in Shanghai the bride's family booked us a private single day tour and all day we spent struggling with English translations and poorly planned stops. Maybe we were spoiled by the amazing guides we had and were going to have but it made us understand just how good your guides were. We will recommend your company to any and all of our friends, family and work colleagues who plan on traveling to China.
