Sorry for taking so long to respond. We had a wonderful time on our trip. We especially enjoyed some of the free time shopping in Xian and Shanghai. We had gone to Beijing a few days before the tour and would suggest a side trip to the Night Market to sample the street vendor foods.
I highly recommend your tour. I also strongly suggest that if one is not opposed to the cold weather the Christmas timeframe is excellent, absolutely no crowds.

Dear Wendy,
The organization was perfect. Everything worked out well. We never felt rushed and always knew what was going on.
We especially loved our tour guide. Our guide, Sarah, was amazing! She was so nice, had a great attitude, was knowledgeable, answered any questions we had and was so fun to talk to. We loved her!!! We don't think we could have had a better experience with anyone else. We felt very comfortable with her and loved our conversations about not only what we were seeing/ touring but Beijing and China itself.
Our driver was very nice. Mr. Lee didn't speak English but he always had a smile, opened doors for us and kept the vehicle very clean.
We loved both restaurants and meals. The restaurants were very different from each other which we liked and both meals we had were amazing.
