Dear Flora and Kina,

On the whole the meals were good. I think we would have preferred fewer meals in hotel restaurants and more in typical Chinese restaurants. The lunch on October the 12th in Xian was very good, as was the Dumpling banquet.

We found the following guides Ling Zhi in Xian, Mr. Ge in Suzhou, and Yu in Guilin were the best of our guides in China. The guide in Luoyang was also very good.

Generally the cars were very clean, the drivers were helpful and we felt safe with them.

All of the hotels were clean and we had no problems with hotel staff.

We had a very good trip with little to complain about. The food was generally very good, the guides mostly very helpful and knowledgeable. We would like to name again the four guides we found to be the best as we mentioned above. It was a very memorable holiday and we certainly enjoyed the sights, sites, culture and people we met along the way. We are very pleased with the help and co-operation we received from Flora and Kina. We would recommend your company to other China travelers.

Thank you Flora for helping us to arrange our tour.

Overall, the restaurants you chose for us were of good quality and an inviting atmosphere. In particular, the restaurant just outside of the Great Wall (Mutianyu) was beautiful as it felt like you were eating outside (atrium) and the food was delicious.

Both our guides, Linda (Beijing) and Helen (Xi'an) were excellent, easy to understand and knowledgeable about the various points of interest as well as other questions I posed regarding other buildings and areas not part of the tour. We also appreciated how attentive and flexible they were to our children's needs.

The drivers were very professional and kept the cars clean. To be honest they did not interact with us and I don't think it is necessary to do so as they have a job to do and that is drive! I am pleased that they remained focused on driving.

We appreciate the extra efforts of our guides to ensure that we were settled into the hotel properly and that we had all the necessary information to navigate the cities on our own days. They were flexible for meeting the needs of our children and the extra effort is what made the tours even more enjoyable. Much appreciated!
