Thank you for organizing such a nice tour for us.

We believe we had enough time at each of the sites with the exception of the museum in Shanghai. We would love to have had a bit more time to explore the exhibits. We would also have preferred to go to a section of the Great Wall that was not such a tourist place. We are fascinated by the historical prospective and would have liked a less populated area to explore.

Our guides all seemed quite knowledgeable. They were all wonderful. We enjoyed the perspective of locals while touring their individual cities. They were all able to get their point across quite effectively. We learned a great deal from all three of our guides. We are both fascinated by world history and how it relates to the present and found that all of our guides were quite helpful in increasing our knowledge of the history and the people of China.

The drivers didn't seem to drive any better or worse than those around us. They were always on time. There was little interaction with the drivers due to the language barrier.

The meals were amazing. We think it would be overall easier, however, if the meals were more preplanned. This worked quite well in Xi'an -- while on the bus to the restaurant, the guide allowed us to choose from the various specialties of the restaurant and ordered all the dishes for us at the same time. When we ordered for ourselves in Beijing, it took longer and was rather confusing for the restaurant staff.

The hotels were amazing and were way above expectation. They were all clean and quite enjoyable. The Holiday Inn was much newer and more modern. The New World hotel was very clean and the rooms were large, but it is in need of a renovation in order to be considered on the same level with the Holiday Inn. The Howard Johnson's in Shanghai was the nicest place I have stayed in for years.

This is the first organized tour we have taken (we have traveled extensively but never on a structured tour like this). It was a wonderful experience and we can't wait to come back -- hopefully with our adult children next time! Thank you so much for such a well-organized and fascinating tour.
