I apologize for the delay in responding to your email. After China, my husband and I spent a few weeks in the Philippines and had a very busy schedule. I just returned to Canada. We had a great time in China - thanks to your company!
Overall, the allocation of time was sufficient. Since the group was small, there was less time spent waiting for everyone.
We were pleased with the meals and services at the restaurants. However, maybe the set menu ordered in the restaurants should be reviewed to ensure that the same dishes are not served for both lunch and dinner in different restaurants on the same day or successive days (e.g. in Shanghai and Beijing). We particularly enjoyed the lunch in Xian when the menu was not set and we could order dishes that the tour participants would like to try.
All the guides provided good information about the visited sites. Each one were helpful in answering questions and providing clarification as required. They were all very helpful during the tour. However, it would have been appreciated if some suggestions were provided on possible independent night time activities during our stay in Beijing and Xian. Everyone spoke clearly in English.
Drivers were quiet but courteous and punctual in picking us up.
The breakfast selections in the hotels were very good. The rooms we were assigned were very clean and comfortable and the service efficient.
I really enjoyed the little diversion during our Xian tour to get a reflexology massage which was suggested by our guide.
We hope to do another one of your tours sometime in the future.
