I apologize for taking so long to provide you this feedback.
All of our tour guides were excellent. They were very knowledgeable about the sights we visited and their English was quite good. The drivers were very courteous and professional in their duties.
We enjoyed all of the meals and the variety of foods offered. The meal at the panda reserve outside Chengdu was very good. However, it would have been helpful to know in advance that it was a seven course meal as we were full before the last two courses were even served. Regarding the meals we ordered ourselves, it would be beneficial to know what our food allowance was so we could order accordingly.
All of the hotels were excellent, but we thought the Hilton Beijing Wangfujing was the best.
Some comments regarding the tours:
The itinerary did not include which train station we were to go to for the ride to Xian. It was only by luck that I called Holly the day of the trip to ask a question about luggage and she mentioned going to the West Train Station. Otherwise we would have gone to the wrong station and missed the train.
We felt the river cruise in Shanghai was not worth the time. We would have preferred to have seen other sites in or around the city or more time in the shopping district.
My daughter and I really enjoyed the panda reserve and my daughter had the opportunity to sit with and pet a panda. However the itinerary for the last day in Chengdu had us seeing sights in the late morning, having lunch, and then having nothing to do for three hours before our evening flight back to Beijing. We would have preferred to have stayed at the hotel until noon, had a late lunch, and then seen the sites before going to the airport.
However, these comments are not significant compared to the great experience we had. I will definitely recommend your agency to friends traveling to China.
