China Tour Reviews

Dear Maggie,

I know my wife has replied, but could I also thank you for your efforts on our holiday arrangements. It was really appreciated to meet you at the Xian show and put a name to the face who so efficiently organised our holiday and replied to our requests. We cannot thank you enough. You have down a great job and we will recommend you to many of our freinds who have expressed an interest in a China holiday.

Regards and many thanks again.

Good afternoon,

Firstly thank you very much for the amazing holiday you facilitated for me in China. It has been an amazing experience for me.

Here are some of my comments regarding our China tour.

1. In terms of your tour guides most of them were good. They spoke English well and tried to be very helpful where they can.

Lilly in Xian was excellent!! She is knowledgeable and she has a great attitude toward keeping the customer happy. To take into account that she went through a family bereavement while she still worked and acted as a guide for us. Absolutely professional!!
David in Guilin was also very good. Knowledgeable and in general very helpful and friendly. Ray in Beijing was friendly and helpful.
Jerry in Chongqing was personally for me unacceptable as a guide as he did not understand the boundaries between being a guide and being on the tour itself as a guess. He also speaks too much about unrelated topics not relevant to the tour. In conclusion on your tour guides in general I was very satisfied.

2. All the drivers for me was up to standard, they drove carefully and the vehicles were always on time and clean.

3. Food wise I have a few suggestions. The food you supplied during the tour looked very pleasant and good. Although as a western guest the food did not suite my eating habits. I understand it must be very difficult to cater for all guests needs but it might be an idea to structure the tour package including lunch and dinner and a package without lunch and dinner. That will give the guests that do not eat Chinese food the opportunity to arrange their own food. I had to pay extra money for dinners in the hotel as I did not join in on lunches and dinners. This is not a major issue, after all I understand it must be very difficult to accommodate everybody.

4. One other suggestion, although I am not sure how feasible it will be. The Badaling part of the great wall was very busy with lots of tourists. For me it was too busy and it took something away from this amazing wonder. Perhaps to take the guest to a less busy part of the wall will give them the opportunity to experience the real wonder of the wall.

To conclude, thanks again for a memorable holiday and I will be making use of your service again.

Regards,
