The meals: I thought, in general, the meals were very good. Our favorite was the first lunch in Guilin, which was wonderful. The buffet at the Hyatt Hotel in Xian was terrific - our children loved it - and nearly everything in Beijing was quite good.
Lhasa didn't have as good a food as the rest of the places, but we were expecting that. The best was the lunch at the Kiyuchu hotel. I wouldn't recommend that you send anyone to The Mad Yak in the future.
I thought all the guides were very good. In particular, however, we really loved the following three: 1) Michelle in Beijing, who had a wonderful sense of humor and was very, very determined in making sure we got everything we wanted. 2) Tseten in Lhasa, who was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about teaching us about Tibet. We really feel like we learned an amazing amount. 3) Maggie in Guilin/Yanshuo. I think it's harder to be a guide there because you don't have as much as history to talk about, but her attitude and smile were just amazing, and we had a wonderful time with her.
The cars and drivers were good. At least, we are all in one piece, which is saying something in China's traffic! It was a great luxury to have them waiting for us whenever we were finished touring.

We had very specific needs for this China trip, because we had certain days we needed to travel and we had to go to my husband's home town and we were traveling with our whole family, including a young child. You were great about adjusting the itinerary to suit us. There is no way at all we could have seen and done so much in such a short time without your help, and it was incredibly relaxing to have you taking care of everything and to have our own driver/guide in each city. It simply could not have gone smoother, and the price was quite reasonable for what we received. When we go back to China I would not hesitate to use Chinatour360 again.
