China Tour Reviews

The meals were delicious but we all think it was too much quantity for four people. I would recommend for the future that you offer 4 types of dishes (vegetables, beef or pork, and chicken; if the client does not eat meat, offer fish) instead of 7, plus rice.

All the guides we had were very conscientious and hard working as well as knowledgable.

Anna Leng (Shanghai) was excellent, friendly, accommodating, pleasant, and very knowledgable. If she didn't know the answer to a particular question, she looked it up and let us know the next day. Also, she showed us to our seats on the bullet train and waited till it left the station before she left the platform, which made us feel very specially cared for. She was like a mother to us.

Rebecca (Guilin) was friendly, knowledgable, very helpful as well, and last but not least, Windy (Suzhou) was very pleasant and we enjoyed her company as well.

The drivers were all very helpful, friendly, solicitous of our needs, and always on time for pick-ups.

We enjoyed and appreciate your tour services very much. We will definitely recommend your tour group to any of our friends who are interested in visiting your wonderful country. Thank you for a very pleasant 14 day vacation!

Sincerely,
Melinda F. Rosenthal

Dear Maggie/Sally,

We would definitely recommend your agency to anyone interested in travelling to China. We were very fortunate to be travelling with a great bunch of people and made some good friends. We thought we would come home from China having lost weight but unfortunately this was not the case because of all the great food! Please see my the details below.

Echo in Xian was lovely and had a great sense of humour. She was the only guide who had the sense to put the bottles of water in an ice box to keep cool - top marks!! Jason in Beijing made the effort to learn all our names and arranged the check-in at the airport so smoothly and just issued us with our boarding cards - very efficient. Probably Lulu in Shanghai was our favourite because she was interested in what we wanted to see and do and was very flexible. She speaks great English and once again had a great sense of humour. Arranging the birthday cake and wine for Dennis' birthday was a lovely gesture appreciated by all the group.

Hotel in Xian was lovely and the cruise ship was superb although I would recommend anyone to upgrade to a suite if possible.

Couldn't complain about timings especially as we were lucky to have guides who were flexible and open to suggestions. Probably the only time when a few of us felt we could have done with less time was at the Jade Museum, however other members of our group enjoyed it so it was not a problem.

Meals were great but if anything we could have done with less food and more drink. It seemed a bit petty to be restricting us to either one or two cups of drink when there was SO much food on offer. Favourite meal was probably the dumpling banquet which helped because we had such a good waitress and also the Peking duck banquet was quite special.

The drivers are pleasant and the car always kept clean.

Thanks again for such an unforgettable China tour!
