We (small group of 9) just returned from our 4 day tour of Beijing hosted by your company. Having communicated exclusively (and frequently) by email, I of course was a bit apprehensive about how our tour would actually end up. I jokingly told our group as we exited customs in Beijing - "well, if we see our name, that's a good start!!" :-)
What a relief to see our name in the sea of 100's of name cards!!
Everything was 5 star excellent. From the moment we were met by Jason (excellent English and since we are now living in S. Korea we really noticed the difference) and taken to our modern/clean/air conditioned minibus, hotel check in, and to our check in for our flights home. Everything was on time and went 'without a hitch'. Everything.
Jason was a delightful and very informative (and fun) tour guide. He also went above and beyond the call of duty by returning to the Peking Duck restaurant where my son had regrettably left his digital camera (returned to the hostess desk). This was late at night and he refused to take any compensation from me for his trouble or his cab fare. WOW!
We had an 2 open nights since we canceled opera, so we ask Jason on the 1st day (as he was discussing our itineary for 4 days) what our options were. He mentioned several, including the Acrobat show. The next day we asked him about availability and he handled all the details at our request.
The Crowne Plaza was indeed 5 star and the morning breakfast buffet was worth the stay in itself. All the included restaurants were exceptional and the recommendations for our free nights were equally outstanding. He only took us shopping at our request and offered proper counsel. The Chinese Acrobat show was an add on to our tour and we highly recommend it.
I cannot imagine a better organized and planned guided tour of Beijing, regardless of price.
We hope to return to China very soon for a longer tour with your company!
