Hello to the staff at your company:
It was with some trepidation that we booked a tour over the internet based on a google search. Chinatour360 provided everything stated on their website - there were no false promises - what was advertised was delivered!
All emails were answered by Chinatour360 quickly and an additional service at a good price was offered when we were having trouble getting transport at the end of the tour. We
were informed by email about a a number of changes and consulted about a change of hotel as the advertised hotel was fully booked. This to us indicated a commitment to service as nothing was taken for granted.
Our detailed evaluation are below:
Meals:
The lunches and dinners included in the whole China tour were well-presented and tasty. The meal allowance was sufficient to allow us to order a number of dishes and refrestments such as jasmin tea, soft drink and beer. By the time we had a cooked breakfast, a gourmet lunch and a dumpling dinner we felt we would never be able to eat again! The two restaurants we liked were:
Xian - we ate twice here and was in the same building as your company's offices. I feel that a different restaurant should have been chosen for the last day especially as the restaurant was setting up for another function.
Guillin - the second restaurant across the road from the lake. It was a small restaurant with pleasant decor and provided good service and food. It was a pleasant way to finish the tour.
Guides:
Our Guillin guide - Tony Lin is an exemplary guide. He confirmed the timetable, engaged in conversation, was respectful of our privacy, was flexible in arranging the start time for each day and showed interest in us as travellers. He had extensive knowledge of Guilin and because of his age and previous work experience had a mature understanding about world events, the way of life in other countries and the development of China as a nation.
Our Xian guide - Rita has a great future. She did very well for a guide with 6 months experience. She needs to work on her English language skills to develop better understanding of what is being asked of her. Her translation is still at the literal stage so is well above what is required for touring and conversation but not for understanding any indepth questioning or explaining topical issues. Overall - we were very happy with both guides.
Cars:
It was a real treat to be met and driven from place to place safely. Both drivers kept clean, well maintained vehicles. However, what was more important to us is that both drivers
drove safely and showed courtesy to other drivers in very trying driving conditions.
We believe Chinatour360 provides value for money and if an opportunity arises would use Chinatour360 again.
