My husband and I have just returned from a 14 day individual China travel. Our tour covered Shanghai, Beijing, Xian, Guilin, Yangshuo and Hong Kong.
We chose ChinaTour360 for several reasons. We had an immediate response to our initial enquiry; the tour went to all the places that we wished to see; and we had very favourable responses from 2 people who had been on a tour when we contacted them by E-Mail.
The tour exceeded our expectations in all respects. The Guides and Drivers in each city were superb. We were treated like royalty. In each city we were asked if we wished to visit a factory shop, we could easily have said no but we were interested in going. Inside the shop there was no pressure to buy so it was an interesting experience. We did in fact buy.
All the China Hotels were good or excellent.
Most of the food was included in the price but apart from a couple of meals in a theatre and on a boat we could choose anything we wanted. The guides were ready to make suggestions if we asked them. The food was delicious and the atmosphere interesting because in general we had our meals in local restaurants. The only thing we found difficult was having to leave a great deal since the portions were so large and we were encouraged to order several dishes.
My husband developed a facial infection in Guilin which entailed a visit to hospital. Our guide took us there and acted as interpreter. He was superb. Because our plane was late and the hospital, we could not visit any sites on our first afternoon. The guide just rescheduled our trip so that we did not miss anything.
