First of all your organisation - ChinaTour360 was excellent, everything happened just as you had described, we were met at each destination by a local guide and transport was always arranged.
With regard to the hotels,
Beijing was first class and was Chengdu, Xian and SuZhou were also fine.
The Yangtze river cruise was interesting and we did enjoy it although quite how it can be described as 5 star I do not know. You did advise us the accommodation was basic, the saving grace was the staff who were excellent and the scenery of course.
Generally the meals you arranged for us were good, in fact there was generally more food than we could ever have hoped to finish. In particular the lunch we had in Guilin on day 2 was great in the little local restaurant as was the City Hotel recommended by Helen in Xian where we had a hotpot. We also enjoyed the dumpling banquet at the theatre and the peking duck meal in Beijing. If anything I would say generally we were over fed (especially at lunchtimes).
The language skills of all the guides was very good and their local knowledge was also as much as we could have wanted. If I had to comment on any, only to say that Wang (Wendy) did not introduce our driver. Infact the driving in Chendgu was interesting!
Helen in Xian was very good and John in Guilin was very good as well, although as a piece of personal feedback to him, he does need to back off a little at meal times. We recognise he was only trying to ensure everything was to our satisfaction, but it became a little off putting to have him check with us as every course arrived, it is a very small detail because John was great.

Finally, if and when I go back to China, I would certainly be more than happy to use ChinaTour360 again.
