China Tour Reviews

Dear William,

What a marvelous China trip! We had a very small group--only three of us, myself, my husband and his sister and we could not have had a better time. The arrangements seemed very personalized and the guides were knowledgeable and accommodating. They were all well educated, conversational and in addition, seemed truly caring.

We loved Beijing, however, our itinerary was pretty strict and our guide was not anxious to deviate, however, we promised to write a note that we wanted to go shopping at the Fanghua pearl market, rather than go to one of the scheduled places of interest. While I realize the trip was arranged to have us see as much as possible during our short--12 day trip--it would have been nice to feel free to serendipitously deviate from the schedule. Jason is fantastic in his knowledge of Beijing and so very accommodating, he even ran out to an optical shop, late the second night, to get me a contact lens container which I had failed to pack. He was so helpful. I was impressed with all of the guides attention to detail, especially at the airports. Every guide, in Beijing, Xian, Chongqing,Yichang and Shanghai got us checked in and stayed with us until we passed through security and until they could no longer see us. This was comforting a nice gesture.

The Three Gorges cruise was indescribable. We upgraded to a small suite for a very nominal fee and it was well worth it to have two sides of the cabin glass.

Your choice of restaurants was very good and the Peking Duck in Beijing was, to use a cliche, "mouth watering." All of the restaurants were good, very clean, attractive and the food delicious.

The drivers were magicians; with all the traffic, pedestrians, bicycles and bicycle rickshaws it seemed a challenging task to not run over a few people every mile or so. We had a four-hour drive from Yichang to Wuhan and never felt uncomfortable with our driver, even though the road conditions (construction) were not conducive to safe driving. I would have liked to have had seat belts for the passengers in the mini-van. I noticed the guide and the driver had seat belts on.

Prior to our leaving for China I was concerned about the hotels and asked you to arrange for upgrades in both Beijing, to the Grand Hyatt and in Shanghai, to the Four Seasons. They were lovely, however, I believe your suggested hotels would have been just fine. The Xian Hyatt was perfectly acceptable.

I don't want to leave out Wendy and Bessie--my email "friends". Prior to our leaving on this trip they took care of all of my changes and questions, very quickly. You are all part of a superb travel agency.

One should have no trepidation about traveling in China if you have guides provided by ChinaTour360.com. Like Lilly in Xian, they were so much fun and so caring we felt like we had "new best friends."

We have traveled "independently" with another world famous travel agency located in Illinois in US in the past and had hoped our experience with ChinaTour360.com would be as luxurious and memorable. We were definitely not disappointed--you thought of everything. You all did a wonderful job. I hope to be back and use you again. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
