Dear Eileen and Sally,
It was a pleasure meeting you and the ChinaTour360 team in Xian. I'm writing in to thank you for the outstanding arrangements made by ChinaTour360 for my family holiday 2005. My wife, kids and I had a great time, and we walk away with many happy memories, and many new friends. We very much appreciated your small group approach, and with just 14 people in our group, we had the time to get to know each other closely while enjoying the sights and sounds of China.
We arrived in Beijing 2 days early, yet ChinaTour360 and our Beijing guide, Hua (the spelling may be wrong) were kind enough to meet us at the airport and take us to our hotel of choice. Not only that, Qua waited till we checked in to our rooms and made sure we were comfortable before leaving the premises himself. Two days later, we made our own way to the tour hotel - Prime Hotel, Beijing - and as with all the hotels we stayed in during our tour, it was 5 star (international standards). In terms of ranking, the Shanghai Hua Tin Towers Hotel was probably the best, followed by the Xian Hyatt and then the Prime Hotel, Beijing.
We found all the guides on the tour to be very knowledgeable about their respective areas of speciality - Hua in Beijing, Echo in Xian, Lisa in Chongqing and Cheung in Shanghai. All were friendly, had a good sense of humour, and most importantly, were keen to share their extensive knowledge and to make sure we all left with a good experience. By the end of the tour, we certainly felt much enriched about the culture and history of China.
Squeezed into our holiday too was a four night Yangtzee river cruise on the Princess Genie, and I must say that was the most relaxing part of the trip. We decided to upgrade to a suite on board for a small supplement, as it was good value. Waking up each day with spectacular views of the country side, the mountains, the Dam etc, all formed part of a truly memorable experience.
Another area I must comment on is the food. At no point during the entire 12 day tour did we feel we were being served anything less than the best Chinese cuisine. Even special dietary needs were taken into consideration, and we had three superb dining experiences each day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Complementary water was served on the tours and free soft drinks / beer served alongside main meals, with free refills. Now that's what I call all-inclusive!
So in summary, the food, the hotels, the tours - the entire holiday and tour experience - simply exceeded our expectations, and the only surprises on the trip were good surprises! My family and I will have no hesitation in recommending ChinaTour360 and the 12-day China small group tour to all our friends and colleagues, In fact, we've already started promoting it in Qatar, so don't be surprised to see many more families from the Middle East choosing China and ChinaTour360 for their holidays.
Best Regards,
The Andrade Family - Peter, Yauleen, Paige and Joe
