China Tour Reviews

Dear Ms. Si,

I had a great time and will recommend ChinaTour360 to my friends. I wanted an overview of China, and your itinery provided that. I have a completely new and wonderful view of China.

I think the time spent on the various stops on the tour was just fine, and I enjoyed all the stops on the tour. I could have spent more time in the Shanghai museum than in the shopping areas we visited. We had plenty of water offered in each of the 4 cities, and the buses were always clean and the drivers fine. I think that is the consensus from my group, and I'm sure you'll be hearing from some of them. Here are my detailed comments.

1) The food in Beijing and Xian was especially excellent. My group had 3 people of Chinese ancestry who agreed, and we all thought that we ate like emporers. The restaurants themselves were definitely 1st class and not tourist restaurants. And the guides ordered well for us. The food in Guilin/Yanshuo was ok; there are probably no restaurants of the same quality as in Beijing or Xian. The food in Shanghai was good, I think, but its hard for me to tell because my taste is more for Northern Chinese food.

2) All four guides had very good english and were very friendly and personable. The guides for Beijing and Xian were especially excellent. They gave us lots of good information all along our tour, accompanying us into the museums to talk about some of the exhibits. You should commend them. Their names were Zhao Li Jun in Beijing and Liu Xiao Yan in Xian.

3) I enjoyed the evening entertainment provided very much. I know they're mostly for the tourists but I still enjoyed them very much. They were first rate productions. I think the performance in Beijing was one of the highlights for me. The current production is really a kind of dance/martial arts performance of the story of a little boy and his growth into young manhood. All the lead performers were beautiful professional dancers and it was a very moving performance. If you're in Beijing soon you might like to see it. I would not hesitate to recommend this particular production to anyone.

4) Other highlights were the Forbidden City, the temple of Heaven, the Li river cruise and bicycling around Yang Shuo, and the museums.

I would be glad for you to include my remarks in your testimonials.

Sincerely,

David Heim
