First of all let me say that it was very nice meeting you in Xian. My overall impression of your company, people, price, attention to detail, service, guides, drivers etc. was very good and I would definitely recommend ChinaTour360 to my friends.
We have traveled to Russia, Estonia, Denmark, Sweden, Holland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Norway, France, Spain, Portugal, England, Scotland, Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico, Bahamas, Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Our China visit was the highlight of all.
Our trip to China that you arranged for us was truly outstanding. I will definitely recommend to my friends and to anyone who inquires about a trip to China.
In Beijing John was assigned as our guide and Mr. Shi was our driver.
John was an outstanding guide. He speaks excellent English, he is extremely knowledgeable of Chinese history, he is very friendly and enjoyable to be around.
As you know my wife is somewhat handicapped due to having two artificial hips and rods in her back. John treated her as good as he would his mother, he assisted her in and out of the car at every stop, he held her arm when she went up and down steps, he saw to it that she had wash room facilities with a sit down toilet. John, assisted us at every turn such as Hotel check in, Airport check in etc.
If I ever go back to China or if any of my friends go to China I will highly recommend they request John as their guide.
I would also recommend that you request him as a guide for your customers touring Beijing. He was truly outstanding. By the way I have offered to be John's guide here in Florida if he should ever come to our country. I also told him I would drive him and his wife to Washington D.C and all at no cost to him. That is how much I think about John in Beijing.
The driver Mr. Shi was an excellent driver. He always assisted my wife in and out of car. The car was very clean and comfortable and he was always right on the spot when called. I would highly recommend Mr. Shi.
We enjoyed the Opera in Beijing immensely. A very enjoyable visit to Beijing!
Carol did an excellent job and the driver Yan Shuo was a very good driver and very helpful with my wife in and out of the van during our stay in Xian. Carol spoke great English and was extremely knowledgeable of Xian and the sights. I would definitely like to have Carol and Yan as my guide and driver should I return to Xian.
The Hyatt Hotel was great. Our room was great and the breakfast was great. In fact the breakfast at Beijing, Guilin and Shanghai were also great. We really enjoyed the western breakfast.
We really enjoyed the noodles and other food at the buffet lunch the second day but did not care for the dumpling dinner the first night. There was nothing wrong with the dumplings but just not to our liking. It was obvious that they are loved by the Xian population because the restaurant was packed and everyone seemed to be loving their dumplings. I am out of order again but I just remember that I had not mentioned the Tang Dynast Dinner show in Xian. The dinner was great and the show was outstanding.
I really fouled up with my flight reservations when I made them 2 months ago. United had me booked out of Seoul and I never caught the error. Thank goodness Rebecca (Zhang Fan) asked me for my flight information the day prior and after trying to confirm I realized I had made a mistake by not checking the return flight. She took us to the United ticket office and we were successful in getting a flight to Chicago the same date of our original flight but some 7 hours later. Thanks to her efficiency we got home pretty much on schedule.
Rebecca was a great guide. She speaks English about as good as I do. By the time we got to Shanghai my wife had walked about as far as she could go so we asked Carol to shorten our visit to the museum. The museum was beautiful with many beautiful items to see but we were simply too tired to enjoy it.
We did not get the drivers name but he was a very good driver and very helpful to my wife.
The Hotel was great and the Portman Acrobatic show was outstanding. We enjoyed the food at each location.
I would definitely ask for Rebecca and the same driver if I return to China. They were a great team.
I doubt we will communicate again, so in closing let me say again. Your trip was GREAT.
