Were back home now and sharing our China travels with all our friends. We had a fantastic time and want to thank you all very much.
We only used your services in Beijing for one day, but our guide and driver, Tony and Mr. Liu, were very good. They were prompt, cheerful and knowledgeable. The breakfasts and service at the Crowne-Plaza Hotel were excellent. In fact, the level of service was the best of all our accommodations. And its location is perfect for strolling in the evenings and getting to Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City and other historic sites. Our daughter, Amy, was our tour guide for the other 3 days. Beijing is a fascinating city and we were very comfortable getting around on our own.
Dragon and Mr. Chen were waiting for us at the Xian airport. We were with them for nearly 5 days. They both were outstanding. Dragon is hardworking, thorough and dedicated to ensuring that his clients have a good time and learn about the history of China. He had good stories to make the history come alive. Mr. Chen is an excellent driver, even in the hustle and bustle of Xian's streets of cars, cabs, bicycles, motorbikes and carts and we always felt safe and comfortable. He also showed great caring by getting out of the van at every stop to assist my family and me. My husband and son saw a motorcycle market one morning and Dragon and Mr. Chen arranged a stop there at the end of the day to accommodate them. Amy and I napped in the van! The Tang Dynasty Dinner/Show and the Dumpling Dinner were both marvelous. Dragon and Mr. Chen set the standard for the level of service, attention and caring that we came to expect.
Chris and another Mr. Chen met us at the Guilin airport. Chris is vivacious and her English language skill is excellent. We loved our time in Yangshuo and would recommend that everyone spend a full day there. The tuk-tuk ride was terrific and on the Christmas Day we rented bicycles and hired a guide, Melody, who took us through the most remarkable scenery imaginable. We had planned to bicycle tour on our own, but are so glad we decided to use Melody as our guide. She took us through countryside that we never would have found ourselves. It was absolutely breathtaking! And then, later that afternoon, we all had marvelous foot massages at our hotel, the Yangshuo Paradise Resort. Yangshuo is great place to buy souvenirs and we enjoyed being there on our own to stroll the small town and enjoy the restaurants. The local specialties, drunk duck and rice noodles, were favorites. Our driver in Guilin, Mr. Chen, did not provide the level of service and caring that we received in all the other cities and we would not recommend him.
Then we were off to Shanghai where we were met by Penny and Mr. Ni. Penny is engaging and personable with excellent English language skills. We were only with them for one day, but they were very helpful. My son became ill and Penny cheerfully took him back to the hotel and made sure he got to his room. We appreciated that. The Peace Hotel is magnificent and its location, right on the Bund, is perfect for walking adventures. We really enjoyed the Acrobatics Show.
All our flights within China were comfortable and only the first one was late in leaving. All our guides were professional and we got the feeling that they all wanted to make sure that we had a good time. Our meals were delicious and enormous. And every meal that we had on our own, in restaurants or in markets was wonderful.
We truly had one of the best vacations of our lives. You made it all easy by taking care of every detail for us. We were met at each airport, taken good care of in each city and then taken back to the airport and seen off to our next city.
Thank you so much. We will definitely recommend China as a destination, and ChinaTour360's service, to all of our friends and acquaintances.
Please feel free to use this on your website and to share it with the travel agencies in Beijing, Xian, Guilin and Shanghai.
