For the Beijing portion, our guide was outstanding. He was very courteous and helpful, and tried very hard to meet any requests. Also, he was an excellent source of information on Chinese cultural aspects, and we enjoyed our conversations very much. He also provided wonderful suggestions for our schedule on Friday, Jan 20th, and we used that day to visit the Hutongs, Culture Street, and an acrobatic show. In particular, we most enjoyed our trip to the Simatai Great Wall. We are surprised that more visitors do not go there. Also, the Eastern Qing Tombs were very enjoyable. I had a great birthday party at the Peking Duck restaurant. Our driver should also be commended for skillfully maneuvering in all the Beijing traffic!

For the Xian portion, our guide had excellent English, and was very experienced as a guide. Again, we thought that she and the driver were very courteous and tried their best for us. We enjoyed our dumpling dinner very much.

For Chongqing, you handled all arrangements. The Harbor Plaza was excellent, and they provided an excellent breakfast buffet.

Our lady driver was excellent.

Our cruise on the Yangtze River was also outstanding. The excursions were very enjoyable. The ship staff was very helpful.

Our domestic flight arrangements worked out very well, and all airport pickups went smoothly. Overall, we were very pleased with our visit to China, and would like to plan another visit, which would probably include Shanghai, Guilin, Yunnan Province, and possibly one or two other stops. We have tried to provide detailed comments above, so as to be helpful. Thank you again!
