The average annual precipitation is 1,664 millimeters (65.5 inches) and rainy days with a rainfall of more than 0.1 millimeter (0.004 inch) amount to over 150 in a year.
It is better to visit this tropical wonderland from November to April, for the rainy season begins in May and lasts for five months until October. Moreover, typhoons frequently threaten the city, on an average of every ten days during the months of June, July, August and September.
