Today you will walk on the most visited segment of the Great Wall, Badaling. To avoid the tourist eateries at the Wall, you will be taken to a local popular Sichuan restaurant for lunch. After lunch, you will visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb. (B+L)

This morning you will visit the ornate Summer Palace on the shores of the immense Kunming Lake. Take an afternoon flight to Xian and transfer to the hotel. Visit the ancient City Wall. (B+L)

Tour the astounding Museum of Qin Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses. Then we'll return to the city for an excellent Cantonese lunch. Drive to Dunhuang and transfer to the hotel. You will get an opportunity to take a brief, but fun camel ride along the Echooing-Sand Dune to reach Crescent Lake. (B+L)
Visit the Mogao Grottoes and the Dunhuang Museum. After dinner, take an overnight soft sleeper train to Turpan. (B+L+D)

Take flight to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel. Tour the Yuyuan Garden, and the Bund. Later, you will visit a local family to experience the local people's life.
