Great Wall of Beijing |
You will walk through Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. Tonight you will feast on Peking Duck Dinner at a famous restaurant. Following dinner you will witness a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre. (B+L+D)

Today you will walk on the most visited segment of the Great Wall, Badaling. To avoid the tourist eateries at the Wall, you will be taken to a local popular Sichuan restaurant for lunch. After lunch, you will visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb. Tonight you will enjoy an a la carte dinner at a renowned Cantonese cuisine restaurant in the Wangfujing Street. (B+L+D)

This morning you will visit the ornate Summer Palace on the shores of the immense Kunming Lake and the Lama Temple. Take an afternoon flight to Xian and transfer to the hotel. A sumptuous buffet dinner will be served for you at the hotel this evening. (B+L+D)

Tour the astounding Museum of Qin Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses. Then we'll return to the city for an excellent Cantonese lunch. In the afternoon, explore the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the City Wall. This evening, you will be entertained with the marvelous Tang Dynasty Dinner Show in Tang Dynasty Palace. Visit the magnificent Shaanxi Provincial History Museum. After enjoying a delicious a la carte lunch at a local cuisine restaurant, visit the Great Mosque, the center of Xian's sizeable Muslim community and a local family, which helps you know how local people live. (B+L)

Visit the Hanyangling Museum, the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi on the way to the airport. After lunch, take a flight to Jiayuguan and check in the local hotel. (B+L)
Today's visit includes the Jiayuguan Pass, the Wei-Jin Art Gallery and the First Fire Tower of Great Wall. (B+L)

Drive to Dunhuang and transfer to the hotel. You will get an opportunity to take a brief, but fun camel ride along the Echooing-Sand Dune to reach Crescent Lake. (B+L)

Visit the Mogao Grottoes and the Dunhuang Museum. After dinner, take an overnight soft sleeper train to Turpan. (B+L+D)

Your local guide will meet you at the railway station and transfer you to the hotel. Breakfast is served in your hotel. Today's itinerary includes the Jiaohe Ruins, the largest, oldest and best-preserved earthen city in the world, the Karez Irrigation Channels and the Sugong Pagoda. (B+L)
Visit the Gao Chang Ruins, and the Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves located deep in the Flaming Mountains. Drive to Urumqi and connect flight to Kashgar. Check in the local best hotel. (B+L)

Explore Kashgar's Old Quarter, the Id Kah Mosque, the Abakh Khoja Tomb and the famous Sunday Market. Fly back to Urumqi and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

Take flight to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel. The rest of your day is free to explore the city by yourselves. (B)
In the morning, tour the Shanghai Museum and Yuyuan Garden. After lunch, enjoy a cruise on the Huangpu River. Tonight's dinner will feature Shanghai cuisine at the renowned 260-year old Wang Bao He restaurant. After dinner, you'll go to the Shanghai Centre Theatre and see the fabulous Portman Acrobatic Show.
