Climate: There is a saying about Guiyang climate 'In heaven there is the paradise, and on earth there are Guiyang enjoys a subtropical humid temperature and doesn't experience either hot summer or chilly winter. The temperature is generally quite gentle, with a mean annual temperature of 15.3°C (59.5°F). The climate here is extraordinary pleasant; and spring, summer and autumn are all satisfactory for a tour in the city. The winter here is quite mild; and the average temperature of January ranges from 1°C (33.8°F) to 5°C (41°F). Even in the hottest July, the mean temperature is only 24°C (75.2°F), endowing the city with the reputation of China's Summer Resort Tourist City.
