Day 01: Arrival in LhasaOur guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Acclimatize yourself to the high altitude. Tonight, the a la carte dinner will be served at a local best Sichuan cuisine restaurant. (D)

Day 02: LhasaThis morning you will view the magnificent Potala Palace. After a western-style lunch, continue your sightseeing tour to visit the Sera Monastery and Norbulingka Park. Later you'll meet a Tibetan family and get an opportunity to see their customs and how they live. Tonight you will dine at your hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 03: LhasaStart the day with visits to the Drepung Monastery, the Jokhang Temple and the thriving Barkhor Street bazaar. After a western-style lunch, you'll see the Tibetan Tradition Medicine Hospital and the Lhasa Carpet Factory. This evening dinner will be served at the hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 04: Lhasa - GyangtseDrive to Gyangtse and stop at the Yamdrok Yumtso Lake before transferring to the Gyangtse Hotel. Visit the Pelkhor Monastery and Gyangtse Old Town. Tonight's dinner is served at your hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 05: Gyangtse - ShigatseEnjoy the hour-long drive to the town of Shigatse and transfer to the Shigatse Hotel. Visit the Tashilhunpo Monastery and the New Palace of Panchen where Tibetan lamas live and worship. (B+L+D)
Day 06: Shigatse - LhasaToday we'll motor back to Lhasa and transfer to the Lhasa Hotel. Tonight, you'll have dinner at the hotel. (B+L+D)
