This morning you will view the magnificent Potala Palace. After a western-style lunch, continue your sightseeing tour to visit the Sera Monastery and Norbulingka Park. Later you'll meet a Tibetan family and get an opportunity to see their customs and how they live. Tonight you will dine at your hotel. (B+L+D)

 

Start the day with visits to the Jokhang Temple, the thriving Barkhor Street bazaar. After a western-style lunch, you'll see the Tibetan Tradition Medicine Hospital and the Lhasa Carpet Factory. This evening dinner will be served at the hotel. (B+L+D)

 

Enjoy the hour-long drive to Shigatse and transfer to the local hotel. Visit the Tashilhunpo Monastery and the New Palace of Panchen where Tibetan lamas live and worship in the afternoon.  Dinner is served in your hotel. (B+L+D)

 

Drive to Gyangtse and transfer to the local hotel. Visit the Pelkhor Monastery and Gyangtse Old Town. (B+L+D)

Take long-hour drive to Tsetang and stop at the Yamdrok Yumtso Lake and the Karola snow mountain before transferring to the Tsetang Hotel, where you have your dinner tonight. (B+L+D)

 

Today's visit includes the Tomb of Tibetan Kings, the Yumbu Lakang and the Trandruk Monastery in the morning. (B+L+D)

 

Full day tour to visit the Samya Monastery by ferrying the Yarlung Tsangpo River on the way. (B+L+D)
