Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
Our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of your day is free.

Day 02: Beijing
You will walk through Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven.  Tonight you will feast on Peking Duck Dinner at a famous restaurant.  Following dinner you will witness a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre. (B+L+D)

Day 03: Beijing
Today you will walk on the most visited segment of the Great Wall, Badaling. To avoid the tourist eateries at the Wall, you will be taken to a local popular Sichuan restaurant for lunch. After lunch, you will visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb. Tonight you will enjoy an a la carte dinner at a renowned Cantonese cuisine restaurant in the Wangfujing Street. (B+L+D)

Day 04: Beijing - Urumqi
This morning you will visit the ornate Summer Palace on the shores of the immense Kunming Lake. Take an afternoon flight to Urumqi and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

Day 05: Urumqi - Kashgar
Take an early morning flight to Kashgar - "the pearl on the Ancient Silk Road" and transfer to the local best hotel. Stroll through the famous Sunday Market. (B+L)

Day 06: Kashgar - Urumqi - Turpan
Explore Kashgar's Old Quarter, the Id Kah Mosque and the Abakh Khoja Tomb. Fly back to Urumqi and transfer to Turpan. Check in the local hotel. (B+L)

Day 07: Turpan
Today's itinerary includes the Jiaohe Ruins, the largest, oldest and best-preserved earthen city in the world, the Karez Irrigation Channels and the Sugong Pagoda. (B+L)

Day 08: Turpan - Dunhuang
Visit the Gao Chang Ruins, and the Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves located deep in the Flaming Mountains. Board the overnight soft sleeper train to Dunhuang. (B+L+D)

Day 09: Dunhuang
Your guide will meet you at the railway station and transfer you to the hotel. Visit the Mogao Grottoes and the Dunhuang Museum. Breakfast is on your own. (L)

Day 10: Dunhuang - Xian
You will get an opportunity to take a brief, but fun camel ride along the Echooing-Sand Dune to reach Crescent Lake. Take an afternoon flight to Xi'an and transfer to the hotel. A sumptuous buffet dinner will be served at the hotel this evening. (B+L+D)

Day 11: Xian
Tour the astounding Museum of Qin Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses. Then we'll return to the city for an excellent Cantonese lunch. In the afternoon, explore the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the City Wall. This evening, you will be entertained with the marvelous Tang Dynasty Dinner Show in Tang Dynasty Palace. Day 12: Xian
Visit the magnificent Shaanxi Provincial History Museum. After enjoying a delicious a la carte lunch at a local cuisine restaurant, visit the Great Mosque, the center of Xian's sizeable Muslim community and a local family, which helps you know how local people live. (B+L)

Day 13: Xian - Chongqing
Visit the Hanyangling Museum, the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi in the morning. Then take an afternoon flight to Chongqing. Tonight enjoy a sumptuous buffet dinner at the 4-star Holiday Inn Yangtze. Then you will embark on the deluxe German-made cruise ship to stay overnight in preparation for your Yangtze cruise. Day 14: Chongqing - Fengdu
At 08:00, the ship sets sail down the mighty Yangtze River. Your sightseeing highlight today will be a visit to the Ghost City of Fengdu. (B+L+D)

Day 15: Badong - Xiling Gorge - Sandouping
Today, you'll stop at the town of Badong and take a small junk up the Shennong Stream and enjoy the spectacular natural scenery. The cruise will resume sailing into the western section of Xiling Gorge and passing through the five-step ship lock. (B+L+D)

Day 16: Sandouping
Today's visit is a short excursion to the monumental Three Gorges Dam Project at Sandouping. (B+L+D)

Day 17: Wuhan - Shanghai
The cruise ends in Wuhan at noon. You will be met by your local guide and taken to a well-known restaurant for your lunch. You will then have the opportunity to go to the Hubei Provincial Museum. Then take flight to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

Day 18: Shanghai
In the morning, tour the Shanghai Museum and Yuyuan Garden. After lunch, enjoy a cruise on the Huangpu River. Tonight's dinner will feature Shanghai cuisine at the renowned 260-year old Wang Bao He restaurant. After dinner, you'll go to the Shanghai Centre Theatre and see the fabulous Portman Acrobatic Show. Day 19: Departure from Shanghai
