Our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of your day is free.

 

You will walk through Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven.  Tonight you will feast on Peking Duck Dinner at a famous restaurant.  Following dinner you will witness a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre. (B+L+D)

 

Today you will walk on the most visited segment of the Great Wall, Badaling. To avoid the tourist eateries at the Wall, you will be taken to a local popular Sichuan restaurant for lunch. After lunch, you will visit the Ming Tomb and the Sacred Way. Tonight you will enjoy an a la carte dinner at a renowned Cantonese cuisine restaurant in the Wangfujing Street. (B+L+D)

 

This morning you will visit the ornate Summer Palace on the shores of the immense Kunming Lake and the Lama Temple. Take flight to Xian and transfer to the hotel. A sumptuous buffet dinner will be served at the hotel this evening. (B+L+D)

Tour the astounding Museum of Qin Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses. Then we'll return to the city for an a la carte lunch at a renowned Cantonese cuisine restaurant. In the afternoon, explore the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the ancient City Wall. This evening, you will be entertained with the marvelous Tang Dynasty Dinner Show in Tang Dynasty Palace. Visit the magnificent Shaanxi Provincial History Museum. After enjoying a delicious a la carte lunch at a local cuisine restaurant, visit the Great Mosque, the center of Xian's sizeable Muslim community and a local family, which helps you know how local people live. (B+L)

Visit the Hanyangling Museum, the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi in the morning. Then take an afternoon flight to Kunming and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

 

Take a morning flight to Lijiang and check in the local hotel. Today you will visit the Baisha Village with its famous murals, a local Naxi family, the Joseph Rock's former residence in Yuhu Village and the Square Street of Lijiang Old Town. This evening enjoy the Naxi Ancient Music and Dance Performance at Dongba Palace. (B+L+D)

 

Full day is free at leisure. You can enjoy the ancient town and pay a short visit to a Local Family of Naxi Minority by yourselves. (B)

 

Take a morning flight back to Kunming. Drive to the incredible must - Stone Forest at Lunan for a visit. Stay overnight in Stone Forest Hotel. (B+L+D)

 

Drive to Xingyi via Shizong. Xingyi is the southwest gate of entering Guizhou province. En route, visit the Local Tobacco Farm and a Local Country Market if time is proper. Upon arrival in Xingyi, visit the Local Folk Museum of the Wedding Rituals. (B+L+D)

Visit the Forest of Thousands of Mountain Peaks, the Maling Gorge and the Heaven-star Gallery which takes 2 hours' hiking. (B+L+D)

 

Drive to Huangguoshu. En route, explore Zuoqi Black Miao Village to discover women's traditional costume with big earring, black turban and black cotton jacket. Visit the Buyi People Village to see their traditional way of spinning and weaving. Stay overnight at Huangguoshu. (B+L+D)

 

Visit the largest waterfall in Asia - Huangguoshu Waterfall. Upon arrival in Guiyang, visit the Jiaxiu Pavilion and the Qingyan Old Town. (B+L)

 

Drive to Kaili and check in at the hotel. Visit a Long-skirt Miao Village. You will experience the Miao people's daily life by visiting the Local Families. Meanwhile, you can appreciate the Miao people's typical architecture - Wooden Stilt House. (B+L)

 

Visit another Long-skirt Miao Village. Then drive to a village nearby to see the pottery-making. After lunch, visit a Miao Village. En route, explore a Shui People's Village located in a deep valley. Late afternoon, arrive at Rongjiang. (B+L+D)

 

Drive to visit Yintan Dong Village. Family visit will be arranged. Then explore Basha Miao Village noted for men's hair dresses. In the afternoon, drive to Zhaoxing, visit the largest Dong People's Village in China. (B+L+D)

 

Morning explore Tang'an Dong Village noted as the first ecological museum of Dong people. Then drive to Sanjiang. Visit the Chenyang Wind and Rain Bridge and explore the Dong villages nearby. Late afternoon, arrive at Longsheng. (B+L+D)

 

This morning you will visit the most spectacular Terraced Fields and the Yao People's Village in Longsheng. In the late afternoon, drive to Guilin and check in the local hotel. Enjoy Ethnic Songs and Dances at Lijiang Theatre after dinner. (B+L+D)

 

Enduring memories are created today as you cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo. Upon arrival in Yangshuo you can take a short bicycle trip to the countryside where you will visit a local villager's home and experience his rural lifestyle. Alternatively you can take our electric car instead of a bicycle. Then take the short drive back to Guilin. (Sometimes the food served on the cruise is not the best, so consider a hearty breakfast at the hotel this morning) (B+L)

 

Today's visit includes the Reed Flute Cave, the Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill. Then take an afternoon flight to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

 

In the morning, tour the Shanghai Museum and Yuyuan Garden. After lunch, enjoy a cruise on the Huangpu River. Tonight's dinner will feature Shanghai cuisine at the renowned 260-year old Wang Bao He restaurant. After dinner, you'll go to the Shanghai Centre Theatre and see the fabulous Portman Acrobatic Show. You will be transferred to the airport to board your homeward bound flight filled with memories of your exciting journey to this most amazing land. (B)
