You will walk through Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven.  Tonight you will feast on Peking Duck Dinner at a famous restaurant.  Following dinner you will witness a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre. (B+L+D)

 

Today you will walk on the most visited segment of the Great Wall, Badaling. To avoid the tourist eateries at the Wall, you will be taken to a local popular Sichuan restaurant for lunch. After lunch, you will visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb. (B+L)

 

This morning you will visit the ornate Summer Palace on the shores of the immense Kunming Lake. After lunch, you'll take the afternoon flight to Xian and transfer to the hotel. Visit the ancient City Wall. (B+L)

 

Tour the astounding Museum of Qin Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses. Then we'll return to the city for an a la carte lunch at a renowned Cantonese cuisine restaurant. In the afternoon, explore the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Great Mosque. Tonight you'll enjoy Xian's famous dining specialty, the Dumpling Banquet. After dinner you'll be entertained by the marvelous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show. (B+L+D) 

 

Visit the Shaanxi Provincial History Museum in the morning. After having the a la carte lunch at a local well-known restaurant, take flight to Kunming and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

Take a flight to Dali and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Erhai Lake Park, the Three Pagoda, the South Gate of the Dali ancient town and transfer to Foreigner Street. You can wander on the street and have the dinner by yourselves. (B+L)

 

Drive to Lijiang, visit a local market, the tie-dying in Zhoucheng and the Yan's Compound of Bai Minority in Xizhou. Transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

Today visit the Baisha Village with its famous murals, a local Naxi family and also see Joseph Rock's former residence in Yuhu Village. In the afternoon, spend some time exploring the old town on your own. This evening enjoy the Naxi Ancient Music and Dance Performance at Dongba Palace. (B+L+D)

 

Morning is free to explore the city by yourselves. Take flight to Shanghai and check in the hotel. (B)

 

Today, tour the Shanghai Museum, the Yuyuan Garden and the Bund. Later, you will visit a local family to experience the local people's life. Tonight's dinner will feature Shanghai cuisine at the renowned 260-year old Wang Bao He restaurant. After dinner, you'll go to the Shanghai Centre Theatre and see the fabulous Portman Acrobatic Show. You will be transferred to the airport to board your homeward bound flight filled with memories of your exciting journey to this most amazing land. (B)
