Located in the Dayan Town of Lijiang City, Baisha Village was the home of Chieftain Mu, the supreme ruler of Lijiang, serving as the political, economic and cultural center of Lijiang in ancient times. Fuguo Temple, the largest lamasery of Lijiang, was just located at Baisha Village originally. In the temple, there are many magnificent mural-decorated ancient buildings presenting the prosperity Baisha at that time, including the Daji Treasure Palace, Color Glazed Hall and Wenchang Palace.
