Lying at the foot of the Mingfeng Mountain in the eastern suburban of Kunming City, Golden Temple is the largest copper temple in China, preserved better than the golden temple in the summer palace of Beijing. It is a national forest park, combing natural scenery, historical sites, cultural relics and man-made garden. It is also a famous Daoism holy land in Yunnan since the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644), in which there are well-preserved ancient Daoism architectures 4 places and 10 halls.
