Being the longest gorges among three gorges of Yangtze River, Xiling Gorge totals 76 km (47 miles) from Xiangxikou to Nanjinguan in Yichang, Hubei Province. It is famous for the splendid view of river and mountains as well as the four smaller gorges: the Military Manual and the Precious Sword Gorge (Binshu Baojian Xia), the Ox's Liver and Horse's Lung Gorge (Niugan Mafei Xia), the Kongling Gorge (Kongling Xia) and the Lantern Shadow Gorge (Dengying Xia).
