
Shennong Stream is located in Hubei Province. It rises in the south of the Shennongjia Mountain, the 'No. 1 peak of Central China', flowing from the south 60 km (37.3 miles) all the way to the north and finally into the Yangtze River. The stream is famous for the splendid scenery of the stream, waterfalls, stalagmites, caves, cliffs as well as the Longchang Gorge, Yingwu Gorge and Shennong Gorge.
