Day 01: Arrival in Hong Kong
Upon arrival, please go to the hotel we have booked for you by yourselves.

Day 02: Hong Kong - Guilin
The hotel accommodation with breakfast is provided today. You are suggested to have a half-day Hongkong Island Tour. Peak tram ride to mid-level of Central District then to the Victoria Peak, visit the Repulse Bay, Aberdeen and Stanley Market on your own. Take an afternoon flight to Guilin by yourselves. Upon arrival, you will be transfered to the hotel. (B)

Day 03: Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin
Enduring memories are created today as you cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo. Upon arrival in Yangshuo you can take a short bicycle trip to the countryside where you will visit a local villager's home and experience his rural lifestyle. Alternatively you can take our electric car instead of a bicycle. Then take the short drive back to Guilin. (Sometimes the food served on the cruise is not the best, so consider a hearty breakfast at the hotel this morning) (B+L)

Day 04: Guilin - Shanghai
Today's visit includes the Reed Flute Cave, the Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill. Then take flight to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

Day 05: Shanghai
Today tour the Shanghai Museum, Yuyuan Garden and the Bund. Later, you will visit a local family to experience the local people's life. Tonight's dinner will feature Shanghai cuisine at the renowned 260-year old Wang Bao He restaurant. After dinner, you'll go to the Shanghai Centre Theatre and see the fabulous Portman Acrobatic Show. Day 06: Shanghai - Wuhan
This morning tour the Jade Buddha Temple. Then take flight to Wuhan. You will have the opportunity to visit the Hubei Provincial Museum. Tonight enjoy your dinner at a local renowned restaurant. Then you will embark on the deluxe German-made cruise ship. At 19:00, the ship sets sail up the mighty Yangtze River. (B+L+D)

Today's visit is a short excursion to the monumental Three Gorges Dam Project at Sandouping. (B+L+D)

Day 09: Shennong Stream
Today, you'll stop at the town of Badong and take a small junk up the Shennong Stream and enjoy the spectacular natural scenery. (B+L+D)

Day 10: Wanxian
Take a land excursion to Wanxian County to visit the local market and enjoy the youth acrobatic show there. (B+L+D)

Day 11: Chongqing - Xian
At 10:00 our cruise ends in Chongqing. You will then have the opportunity to visit the Panda House in Chongqing Zoo and the Residence of General Joseph W. Stilwell. Enjoy a sumptuous buffet lunch at the 4-star Holiday Inn Yangtze. Then take flight to Xian and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

Day 12: Xian
Tour the astounding Museum of Qin Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses. Then we'll return to the city for an excellent Cantonese lunch. In the afternoon, explore the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Great Mosque.  Tonight you'll enjoy Xian's famous dining specialty, the Dumpling Banquet. After dinner you'll be entertained by the marvelous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show. (B+L+D)

Day 13: Xian - Beijing
Visit the Shaanxi Provincial History Museum in the morning. After enjoying the a la carte lunch at a local renowned restaurant, visit the City Wall. Take an afternoon flight to Beijing and transfer you to the hotel. (B+L)

Day 14: Beijing
You will walk through Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven.  Tonight you will feast on Peking Duck Dinner at a famous restaurant.  Following dinner you will witness a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre. (B+L+D)

Day 15: Beijing
Today you will walk on the most visited segment of the Great Wall, Badaling. To avoid the tourist eateries at the Wall, you will be taken to a local popular Sichuan restaurant for lunch. After lunch, you will visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb. (B+L)

Day 16: Departure from Beijing
This morning you will visit the ornate Summer Palace on the shores of the immense Kunming Lake if time permits. Then you will be transferred to the airport to board your homeward bound flight filled with memories of your exciting journey to this most amazing land. (B)
