Day 01: Arrival in Shanghai
Our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Stroll along the Bund if time permits.

Day 02: Shanghai
Today tour the Shanghai Museum and the Yuyuan Garden. Later, you will visit a local family to experience the local people's life. Tonight's dinner will feature Shanghai cuisine at the renowned 260-year old Wang Bao He restaurant. After dinner, you'll go to the Shanghai Centre Theatre and see the fabulous Portman Acrobatic Show. Day 03: Shanghai - Wuhan
This morning tour the Jade Buddha Temple. Then take flight to Wuhan. You will have the opportunity to visit the Hubei Provincial Museum. Tonight enjoy your dinner at a local renowned restaurant. Then you will embark on the deluxe German-made cruise ship. At 19:00, the ship sets sail up the mighty Yangtze River. (B+L+D)

Day 04: Sailing
Enjoy a full day cruise sailing on the majestic Yangtze River. (B+L+D)

Day 05: Sandouping
Today, visit the monumental Three Gorges Dam Project at Sandouping. (B+L+D)

Day 06: Shennong Stream
Today, you'll stop at the town of Badong and take a small junk up the Shennong Stream and enjoy the spectacular natural scenery. (B+L+D)

Day 07: Wanxian
Take a land excursion to Wanxian County to visit the local market and enjoy the youth acrobatic show there. (B+L+D)

Day 08: Chongqing - Beijing
At 10:00 our cruise ends in Chongqing. You will then have the opportunity to visit the Panda House in Chongqing Zoo and the Residence of General Joseph W. Stilwell. Enjoy a sumptuous buffet lunch at the 4-star Holiday Inn Yangtze. Then take a flight to Beijing and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

Day 09: Beijing
Today you will walk on the most visited segment of the Great Wall, Badaling. To avoid the tourist eateries at the Wall, you will be taken to a local popular Sichuan restaurant for lunch. After lunch, you will visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb. (B+L)

Day 10: Beijing
You will walk through Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven.  Tonight you will feast on Peking Duck Dinner at a famous restaurant.  Following dinner you will witness a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre. (B+L+D)

Day 11: Departure from Beijing
If time is available, you will visit the ornate Summer Palace on the shores of the immense Kunming Lake. Then you will be transferred to the airport to board your homeward bound flight filled with memories of your exciting journey to this most amazing land. (B)
