Day 01: Arrival in Chongqing
Our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Visit the Panda House in Chongqing Zoo and the Residence of General Joseph W. Stilwell if time permits. Check in the local hotel. Tonight enjoy a sumptuous buffet dinner at the 4-star Holiday Inn Yangtze. (D)

Day 02: Chongqing - Fengdu
Your breakfast is served at the hotel. Then you will embark on the deluxe cruise ship. At 11:00, the ship sets sail down the mighty Yangtze River. Your sightseeing highlight today will be a visit to the Ghost City of Fengdu in the late afternoon. You are invited to join in the Captain's Welcome Cocktail Party tonight. (B+L+D)

Three Little Gorges along Yangtze River cruise



Day 03: Yangtze Three Gorges
You will first pass through the Qutang Gorge, the shortest but the grandest of the Three Gorges. View the exquisite peaks and grotesquely shaped rocks. The river guides will provide a narration about historic sites such as Ancient Plank Road, Mengliang Stairway and the hanging coffins. Then pass the Wu Gorge with its famous lofty and misty peaks. You'll stop at Wushan Daning River to take an excursion to the Three Little Gorges. You will have a wonderful boat ride along the crystal stream with a fantastic natural backdrop. The pea boat allows you to experience a speedy adventure and have a close look at mossy rocks, verdant plants, plank roads, ancient coffins and precious animals. After lunch on board, the cruise will resume sailing into the western section of Xiling Gorge. You can enjoy yourself in the culture programs this afternoon. (B+L+D)

Mt. Huangshan



Day 04: Three Gorges Dam
This morning take an excursion to the Three Gorges Dam Project. The cruise will resume sailing through the eastern section of Xiling Gorge. (B+L+D)

Day 05: Excursion to Wuhan
Today you will take a shore excursion to Wuhan. Visit the Hubei Provincial Museum. (B+L+D)

Day 06: Excursion to Huangshan
At 90:00 take a shore excursion to Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) to appreciate a variety of magnificent scenery. (B+L+D)

Day 07: Excursion to Nanjing
Enjoy a full day city tour in Nanjing to visit Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and a Qing Dynasty style Bazaar surrounding a Confucian Temple. (B+L+D)

Yuyuan Garden, Shanghai



Day 08: Shanghai
At 10:00 our cruise ends in Shanghai. Your guide will meet you on board and transfer you to the hotel. You will then have the opportunity to visit the Shanghai Museum, the Yuyuan Garden, the Bund and the Nanjing Road. Tonight's dinner will feature Shanghai cuisine at the renowned 260-year old Wang Bao He restaurant. After dinner, you'll go to the Shanghai Centre Theatre and see the fabulous Portman Acrobatic Show. Day 09: Departure from Shanghai
You will be transferred to the airport to board your homeward bound flight filled with memories of your exciting journey to this most amazing land. (B)
